The Beetles Singers
Grades: 4–5
Participation: Audition-based
Schedule: Twice per week during the school day
The Beetles Singers is a chorus program for 4th and 5th grade students who enjoy singing and want to develop their voices. Students participate as part of a 50-member chorus and rehearse twice a week during the school day.
The program uses vocal techniques inspired by Cross Choral training, as taught by Dianne Berkun Menaker of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. These techniques help support and protect young, growing voices.
The Beetles Singers perform a mix of traditional choral music and popular songs. The group is student-centered and values student voice, creativity, and collaboration.
